Wind electricity in Europe

Basée sur le mois de Février (mois parmi les plus ventés au cours d'une année), cette carte nous montre la moyenne journalière qu'atteint l'énergie éolienne dans chaque pays européen. Une forte hétérogénéité peut être constatée pour ce continent qui se trouve mondialement en tête pour la production d'énergie éolienne.

Concernant la façade ouest de l'Europe, certains pays tirent pleinement profit du courant aérien soufflant sur l'océan Atlantique et affichent des scores dépassant les 20% d'électricité produite chaque jour à partir de l'éolien. À l'inverse, d'autres, dans la même situation géographique, ne font pas montre du même investissement.

Parmi les autres pays européens, la Lituanie, la Pologne et la Roumanie créent la surprise au milieu de voisins bien moins volontaires.

Au travers de son site internet, l'association WindEurope (regroupant des professionnels du secteur de l'éolien avec une vision européenne) met, chaque jour, en ligne les chiffres de la production journalière d'électricité à partir de l'énergie du vent. La production actuelle est comparée à la demande annuelle moyenne de 2015 fournie par Eurostat (office de statistiques de l'Union Européenne).

Based on the month of February (one of the most windy month of the year), this map shows us the average daily production of wind energy in the europeans countries. A certain instability of the production appears between the countries of this continent even if it is known to be the leader on the wind energy.

About the countries of the West front of the Europe, some of them efficiently uses the air flow from the Atlantic ocean and show scorus over 20%. However, some other, with the same geographic position, don't show the same investment.

Among the other european countries, the Lithuania, the Poland and the Romania create the surprise in the middle of their neighbors less volunteers.

By its web site, the WindEurope association (groupment of professionnals of the wind energy with an european view) shares, every days, the data about the production of wind energy in the countries of the EU and some neighbors. The actual production is compared with the data of 2015 from Eurostat (the office in charge of the statistics of the European Union).
